Wow! What a pleasure and honour it was to sit back and watch the future of this country come together without the prejudice, racism and problems adults bring into this world and just enjoy themselves and each other in a fun and safe environment through music. Well done One Big Voice!
Matt Jarvey, Parent
To all the people involved in the One Big Voice Festival, AMAZING! Thank you so much for this beautiful event! The students from St Mary MacKillop College in Busselton had a wonderful time! Many firm friendships were forged during our rehearsals and participation. We sang all the way home in the bus. We are so grateful to you!
Janine Milicich, Teacher
An absolutely fantastic night … thoroughly enjoyed by all, especially the students, who sang so beautifully! Congratulations to everybody who worked so hard to ensure the success of this fabulous event.
Tracey Roberts, Mayor, City of Wanneroo
My students had the most wonderful time singing today and my parents can’t stop saying how amazing it all was. It’s all because of your hard work and endless hours of preparation, so thank you so very much for giving the children such a fantastic musical experience.
Michelle Welschbillig, Teacher
I can honestly say it was an amazing experience from start to finish.
The workshops provided opportunities to practise and ask questions which were always answered for us.
The children in our school choir had an amazing time and I know (from talking to parents afterwards) they enjoyed the experience and will remember it for years to come. We hope to participate again next year. Thanks must go to all of you who worked so hard and produced an amazing opportunity for our children.
Roz Bayliss, Teacher
I want to say that from start to finish it was a very enjoyable experience, both as a Music Specialist and for our students. A huge effort! I felt that the music was fantastic and perfectly age appropriate. Overall, it was an amazingly well-run concert that I hope we can be a part of again.
Andrew Martin, Teacher
Such a special evening and whilst I cannot find words to describe it Dylan went to bed that night and said: “I feel magical inside me.” Spectacular event; long may it continue!
Sarah Millais-Close Parent, Mindarie Primary
Yes, we will be back for sure.
Amazing and inspiring!
Paul Leeder, Teacher
Thank you for all the hard work that you all put in to make such a fabulous event happen! Performing in such a huge event was extremely special for our students and their families.
Carol Salt, Teacher
Being involved in OBV for my choir is wonderful as we come from a small country town, and it gives my students the opportunity to sing with other schools which is something that cannot happen at home. They are all so keen to sing the songs which are all positive songs and every single one of my choir students loves being involved in this event.
What a brilliant music festival, showcasing the talents of so many children. The parents were so impressed and said it was so wonderful — a highlight of the school year. We will definitely be part of this festival next year. Thanks to the committee who made this magical event possible.
Thank you so much for absolutely everything! You guys are amazing with all of your hard work, passion, dedication, support and encouragement! It was an absolute pleasure and honour to be a part of your concert. Thank you for everything. Now have a well-deserved break.
Wow…just wow! It was such a joy to watch…Congratulations to ALL involved…it was amazing!
From a teacher perspective, I have found that the songs provide a solid body of work to use with the students. Some of the songs are also suitable to use in a class setting. I have found that the students appreciate the more technical songs and love the challenge. The PD’s are a delight to go to – not all PD’s are like that. To participate in singing with other music teachers and to challenge oneself with new songs is wonderful. The networking that goes on is also very useful.
The children love being part of this massed choir experience. It is such a friendly, happy, non-competitive and enjoyable atmosphere that they want to be part of it every year.
What a great idea, in a world where there is so much hate, violence this is good to see. Start teaching children to work together, create harmony and nurture great young people. As others have said should be across all states, and aim for an Australian gathering.

An inspirational and outstanding festival the best I have ever been to. Thank you for all the hard work of the fantastic committee who are so dedicated. Our choir said they loved the whole experience and said they can’t wait for next year. Parents raved about this festival and said it was the highlight of the school year…Congratulations and thank you.
